MOMENTUM

We sometimes imagine that meaningful progress happens through one enormous breakthrough. But much of what changes our lives is built differently. It happens through small steps repeated consistently. That is **momentum**. Momentum begins when movement stops being occasional and starts becoming a pattern. One page written. One phone call made. One prayer prayed. One lesson learned. One product completed. One courageous conversation. One more attempt. None of these actions may appear extraordinary by themselves, but repeated over time, small steps begin to produce significant movement. The difficulty is that we often underestimate what small actions can accomplish because we are looking for immediate results. We want to see the harvest while we are still planting. We want evidence that our effort is working before enough time has passed for the effort to bear fruit. But progress does not always announce itself. Sometimes it is quietly accumulating. This is why we should never despise small beginnings. Do what you can with what you have today. Then return tomorrow and do the next thing. Momentum does not require perfection. In fact, waiting for perfect conditions is one of the quickest ways to lose it. Keep moving. Adjust when necessary. Learn while you go. Rest when you need to—but do not confuse rest with surrender. The small faithful steps you take today may be creating movement that you cannot yet see. **Momentum is built when small, faithful steps become a pattern you refuse to abandon.** ### Reflection What small action could you repeat consistently that would move an important area of your life forward? # Power Declaration I will value small beginnings, remain faithful in my actions and keep moving toward purpose. I am building momentum one meaningful step at a time.** @ Eleanor Swan ~ Empowered For Success
